Frequently Asked Questions About Our Horseback Trail Rides

Here are a few of the frequently asked questions presented to us (commonly referred to as FAQ’s):

What is the average tip for a Wrangler?

Tips are just like a restaurant.  Our Wranglers do work for their tips and are thankful for any they receive.

Is there a weight limit?

In general, no, but  you must let us know if you are over 250lbs.

Is there an age limit?

For trail rides the age is 5 and up.  We also have a pony ring for 4 and under charged by the minute.

Can my child ride with me (doubles on a horse)?

No doubles as it is not safe nor permitted for any reason.

What should I wear/bring?

Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended.  While tennis shoes (or sneakers) are not recommended, they will do.  You’ll ideally want a 1-1.5″ heel on your shoe.  Bring a hat, sunglasses, plenty of water, and sunscreen.

Do we get to run/trot/gallop?

In general, no.  The above are for a higher skill level and lots of practice.  If you’d like to include this in your ride, please call us for a private ride.  Ultimately, it is up to the Wrangler.

Can you accommodate a large group?  How many?

We can accommodate up to about 60 people at once for a trail ride.

Is there anything else we need to do before we come up for a ride?

Yes. Please click on this link to view our Release of Liability form. Print it and bring it with you at time of service
